The Global Kutch Federation organised a significant conference in Bhuj to bring together Kutchis from across the globe and address key issues for the development of Kutch. Non-resident Kutchis and community leaders from several countries took part.
The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting, followed by a welcome address by Director Sachin Nakar, and included the official launch of the federation’s website. Speakers including Keshubhai Patel, Vinod Chavda, Member of Lok Sabha, and Aniruddh Dave spoke about the contribution of Kutchis abroad, Bhuj’s potential for international airport status, connectivity and industrial growth, and partnerships between overseas Kutchis and local entrepreneurs.
Representatives from Oman, Mauritius, Uganda and Seychelles attended. The event was led by Chairman Anil Gor with Vice Chairman Chandrakant Chothani.
