An expert panel for the legal tangles of Kachchhis abroad.
In June 2023 GKF announced a panel of experts to resolve the legal problems faced by overseas Kachchhis. It works with legal professionals and organisations in India to spread awareness and make sure people of Indian origin from Kachchh have the protection they need.
- Guidance on rights, entitlements and the right legal channel
- Help navigating procedures — and when to engage an advocate
- Grievance redressal: complaints taken up and followed through
- Awareness sessions on policies for people of Indian origin
Introductions, not commissions.
GKF connects Kachchhi entrepreneurs abroad with industry in Kachchh, Gujarat and across India — through a Chairman who leads Bhuj’s Chamber of Commerce & Industries Federation, and a board in ten countries. It is also preparing a global database of Kachchhi businesses, as reported in the press.
Seminars, symposia and a seat at the table.
GKF organises seminars, conferences and symposia in India and abroad, and seeks representation on committees and commissions that consider questions affecting people of Indian origin from Kachchh.
